10 Subjects

Whoa. Now the maximum number of subjects you can take for SPM next year is like 10. It was like unlimited this year. Dang. I've already have like 11 subjects. Just two extra subjects (EST and Chinese). The rest are like compulsory. 10 SUBJECTS! Is this a blessing in disguise for me? :O 

Pros

- I can save time studying only 10 subjects. And 10 subjects mean less homework and less school time.

- Some people won't be showing off again. Example:

   Student A: Hey, hey! How many subjects are you taking?

   Student B: Just 15 subjects nia... I wanna take more.

   Manns, I hate this kind of people. Bloody idiots they are.

- Less subjects to study for.

- Less pressure.

- Less people committing suicide.

- I can choose to drop the horribly difficult Chinese. ;P

Cons

- Too little slots for extra subjects. Extra subjects such as Chinese and/or Accounting and/or Chinese Literature and/or Bible Knowledge cannot be taken at the same time. One of them will be dropped.

- Students were wasting their time for more than 6 months for the subjects that cannot even be taken for SPM.

- Students can't take their favourite subjects.

With so many subjects offered, we can only choose 10. That is like a kid going to a candy store and can only choose the candies at the counter even if he has the money to buy the whole store of candies. == Now I'm in a dilemma. I don't know what to take. I feel sorry for some of friends who took 2-3 extra subjects and will not be able to take them for SPM. :( For those who are taking just to show off your whatsoever talent, SERVE YOU RIGHT! Nyahahahahaha!!!!

Compulsory subjects are: BM, English, History, Modern Mathematics and Moral (damn useless subject).

Compulsory subjects for pure science stream: Additional Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

Non-compulsory subject for my school: Chinese, Chinese Literature, English for Science and Technology, Arts, ICT, Accounting, Bible Knowledge... (Don't know all of them)

As for Arts' Stream, I have no idea what they are taking. == 

Of all the days....

WHY must it be the day that I had a big bottle of cold water, specially prepared by me for me. It's a typical hot Sunday afternoon. And there I was preparing myself for 2 continuous ballet classes. Every time in class I would crave for cold drinks. I would not let that happen today. :P So, I put heaps and heaps of ice in my bottle, put in the freezer and wait for it to become cold. I had a sense of accomplishment after that. XD

I drank quite a lot of cold water at the studio because it was so hot.

Then I went home and realized my period came today. == DAMN! I'll have period pain tonight. Good luck to me tonight! =S Tonight is gonna be a tough night. Should I just pop some painkiller? Or should I bear with it? It's not good to pop painkillers every now and then. :(

I'm so hungry now. Had only brunch and two slices of watermelons as lunch. Poor me. The book I mentioned earlier is da bomb. I can't stop reading last night and I read the book until 2am last night! I got up at 9am today and started reading until noon! :P See how addictive it is? It's a MUST READ book!!

Oh! Oh! I forgot to mention that ballet class today was fun! XD Miss Iris (the macho woman as Emily like to call her that) was making our legs stretch. I was impressed that I can go a 180 degrees upright when she pushed my leg up. I hate the stretching the hip area. It was freaking painful okay? You can actually feel your joints rubbing together to form a crack sound. And the pain is not some kind of muscle pain, it's the type of 'bone' pain. I'm not sure whether it's the bone or just some tendons or whatever-you-call-it. I've not covered that in Biology yet. I'm eager to do so.. ;D Anyway, Morgane helped me into a head stand position when Miss Iris was stretching other people. Morgane can do a head stand all by herself! :O

Wow. It's June tomorrow. I envy my brother as he can drive starting tomorrow! :(

I had a really busy week. Exams. Pffftttt. 

*I have to start writing now and stop wandering off to other blogs*

Starting from Monday...

Monday was Chemistry 2. Dang, it's hard. How on earth do I know what experiment were we suppose to do. There were no clue. ==  And I almost cannot finish the paper you know! The time should be extended because we were having a 2 in 1 paper. At least I finished. Some blur people like Shennen was so free during the exam. The teacher even asked her why is she so fast. She just said she finished. When it was time to pass up, she just realized that there is another question at the last page. It's a freaking 17 marks experiment question. She went berserk after that. == And the teacher was smirking because she knew she had forgotten about the last page. Teachers can't tell their students that they didn't finish their paper during the exam right? I think my experiment is a screw-up. I swear that the Chemistry teacher was smiling when she saw my paper. == 

Then, it was Chinese later. DAMN. Chinese is even harder. == I couldn't understand what the summary wants us to do. I thought it was about someone in hell when I read through it the first time. But then, I realized that he wasn't in hell, he was in jail. So pathetic. :S And then there is this traditional poem. Mannns, that thing is a killer. I don't understand a word in the poem. It's just freaking hard. Even Chinese experts from my class said that it was hard. :O

Tuesday... 

The day of Biology. Blah. During Biology 2, I forgot my calculator and Lucas who was sitting next to me forgot his ruler. There were heaps of table-drawing and graph-drawing ok.. Without a calculator, I can't do one of the graph. Without a ruler, he can't draw. So, he borrowed my ruler. When it was almost time, I rushed my experiment and he was still using my ruler! My decision was to borrow Poh Yee's ruler beside me. Then I drew the graph. It wasn't perfect because I was RUSHING! I hate it when I forget to bring something for exam. == Later that day, it was Modern Maths 2. Bwah. Didn't study for that. I took my sweet time doing it to waste time. It was so damn long. The part I didn't know how to do was Sets and Mathematical Reasoning. :P That is so dumb. And our Add Maths teacher told us that if we didn't do well in our paper 1, half of the class will FAIL! :( I don't wanna FAIL!!! That horrible word is haunting me since I got into Form 4. 

Wednesday...

EST, History and Modern Maths. EST - simple. History was the bugger. Apparently, our teacher said it was until the Agraria dan Maritim saling berhubungan or something like that. So, most of us didn't study about stuff after that section. Who knows, 8 questions were asked about the religion thing. IT WAS AFTER THAT SECTION! HOW ON EARTH CAN WE ANSWER WHEN WE DIDN'T EVEN READ ABOUT IT!!! Damn. Modern Maths, another easy subject. 

Thursday...

Physics. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Physics. It's so darn boring. I was studying until my head hurts. So many equations and units and forces. I mean, why all this? I'm never going to be a physicist. == I'll probably die of frustration. And the formulae were like really sharp blades slicing my brain apart. (I'm overreacting!) Can't do some questions because I forgot the formulae to it! I used some logic thinking to solve some of them. == 

Friday...

Add Maths and Biology. Woohoo!! I finished my Add Maths and had time to check through my answers! I was so proud of myself as I can finish the whole paper!! =D Biology was quite simple also. *I'm not being boastful* I was bored to the max because there were like more than 30 minutes to spare. Then I counted my pulse. It was about 70+. Lost counting at the end because I was distracted. 

I'm working on another new header. It's gonna be pink with a tiara! Stupid Photoshop wasn't responding just now and my work was unsaved. RAWR!

AW.

I'm sick. :( Havta take some sinister-looking pills to get better. Exams are still on this week and I hope I don't fall too sick until I don't have the energy to get outta bed. :(

Anyway, Miss Iris said I needed soft block for Intermediate and told us all that it is compulsory. So I got mine. Sewed on the ribbon and man, it feels like pointe shoes without the toe pad. 

The on on the left is my pointe shoes while the one on the right is my soft block. They look similar right?

This soft block means that it's time for me to work hard for Intermediate. No more slacking. :S I don't even know whether I can sit for the exam or not. Next year is gonna be my final year in ballet because I'll probably leave Kuching and go to college or even University. :( Angelina, I know how you feel, having no ballet class to attend when you are in Uni.... :( Gahhhhhh!!! I just hope the place I'm going to have like a ballet school with RAD's standard of course..

Dang. Do I even need to mention how was Add Maths 2 today? You can figure it out yourself. Will I say dang when it's easy? I don't think so.... I'll probably say Woohooo! Add Maths today fecking easy. NO, it's not easy. It's so complicated. *Sings Avril Lavigne's Complicated* Even the questions from Chapter ONE is complicated. CHAPTER ONE!!!! I lost 10 marks for section B because I can't fecking do 2 out of the 5 questions. (We were required to do only 4) I did 3 because the other 2 is like ....(choice of word here).... Luckily it's the one where you pick 4 out of 5 and not do all. == I was clueless when it comes to logarithm. At least I didn't leave any blank spaces in the answer sheet. I put down whatsoever calculation that comes into my mind. At one point, I even manipulated the question and used my how-in-the-world-did-I-came-up-with-it method.

Now, on to the lighter side of the exams. At least I know what I'm writing about in my English essay. Gah! Chinese paper 2 is on the same day as Chemistry paper 2. Both of them have the same level of difficulty but Chemistry can be understood more easily. Honestly. With my level of Chinese, everything related to Chinese is hard. :O

Got to go now. Havta study fir Chemistry 2, pronto!

*Dramatically* Dum Dum Duuuumm 

Today's paper is History 2 and Chemistry 1. I thought today is History 1 so I didn't spend much time memorizing the facts of history. Until last night 11.30pm, I texted Lucas and asked him about Chemistry. 

Me: Do you know how to do Chemistry equation? This mole plus that mole equals this product bla bla bla?

Lucas: I study Sejarah, Chemistry can shoot.

Me: I thought Sejarah is paper 1?

Lucas: Subjective questions.

Me: REALLY??

Lucas: Ya.

Me: OH MAH GOSH!! !@#$%^&*(*&^%$#@

It was already 11.30pm. I was in deep shit because I didn't memorise them. I'm so pissed. == Today, the essay part for History was quite hard. I bullshitted on the essay and I got some facts wrong!! WTH. I think I must have invented my own facts, that's why I got it wrong. == Gahhhhhh! So stupid!!! And I don't even know how to write an essay for History. 10 marks for just a question with like only 2 answers? Now, that's weird.

Chemistry wasn't easy too. I just had enough time to finish everything but not enough time to check my answers. DANG! Some people just have the time to sleep. :( Literally! Later that day, I saw Puan Lim and I asked her whether the questions were set by her. She said no and then she said that paper 1 is counted easy compared to paper 2. *GASPS* I'm so dead. :( Of everything in the periodic table, halogens are the ones I forget to learn. I reminded myself several times to memorise the places of halogens. And I forgot every time. As a result, I got them wrong. WTH! I need to study even harder now. :( 

Anyway, I've gotta do Add Maths now. Add Maths 2 tomorrow. LOL.

So far, so not good.

Gahhh... I just hate exams. This is just the second day of exams and I feel utterly horrible. BM paper yesterday was better than today's paper. Today's paper is freaking Moral and Chinese paper 1. I've mixed up most of the definition for Moral. Who the hell cares about the definition of the moral values in real life (apart from moral teachers)? It's not like we can prevent a crime from happening by just memorizing the definition or saying it out loud! Moral is such an unproductive subject. We students gain nothing from it. I repeat, NOTHING!!! 

There is nothing I can say about the exams. I just hope that some subjects like Chinese and Moral and Sivik doesn't tremendously affect my marks until I can't stay in my own class. I just don't want to be streamed into other classes. 

Oh, I almost forget something quite as important and annoying that happened yesterday during the exam. While the stonians were busy having their exams, the students from the school next door think they can fly.

So there I was, writing happily peacefully, brainstorming ideas for the essay and then it all happened. Bam BOOM Pow! *dramatically* Out of a sudden, some thick-skinned people were singing their 'I Believe I Can Fly' song which is totally outta tune. It's fecking annoying okay. There is this time where they kept repeating the two same words over and over again. Those two words were : I believe. I can't stand it. First, they think that they can fly, and next they having delusions. I'm so pissed when most off my ideas are being sucked out of my head and gone forever. They don't even know that people were laughing at them. Anyway, the singing stopped eventually and I had a peace of mind. I'm so grateful that it stopped! :O

That's all I'm gonna blog for now. Gonna have some rest and study History tonight. :)

Boom Boom Pow.

I hate the last essay for Moral. "Tokoh Tanah Air" is the title. I don't know who to write about. I've thought of Jimmy Choo but teacher doesn't allow him to be one of the tokoh. Grrrr...... I don't like writing about the prime ministers, they are all so dull. == No offense though. I'm searching the net for my tokoh now (apart from blogging).. I've been googling 'Tokoh' and all sorts of weird stuffs are popping out. ==

Ok, so I chose Dato' Onn Jaafar. It's because his name is so familiar. Oh ya! It's from Sejarah last year!! Cikgu Teruyah kept mentioning his name over and over and over again. He is the __ prime minister. Oh wait, is he a prime minister? Oh ok, he's not. Mah bad. == I'll choose him because he is not a prime minister. I never had a thing for prime minister, I don't know why... My gosh... He looks weird. Not good looking at all. :O His photos are all in black and white and sepia.

Anyway, I'm like so stressed out right now. I've been studying randomly. For one minute it's Chemistry, and for the other minute it's History, then another hour it's BM, and later it's Biology, and then Moral and then Add Maths. You get me? Ran-dom-ly. Freaking nervous over exams. And, and, there is this really freaky looking guy in my Chemistry reference book. I've stuck a piece of purple stick-on-note on his picture because he is just waaaaaaaaay freaky! Especially when you're studying alone until midnight. :O

I have this dreadfully painful ulcer on my lips. I can't eat properly, I can't talk properly, I can't smack my lips and I can't stop showing it to Ashley, Joyce and Shennen. I've showed it to them for like a gazillion times so that they can feel the pain. It's not working anyway. == They are probably annoyed at the ulcer and whenever I show it to them, they'll say: I've seen it moments ago. Once in a while, I'll just pull the corner of my lips with my finger because the pain is like nuts. :( 

Dang, exams are next week. 

Yesterday, my ankle accidentally knocked the perpendicular bottom side of the sofa, which is quite hard for a sofa. The skin peeled off immediately and I was swearing so badly. I think I bruised my ankle. It's still painful now. Even when I sickle my foot, there will be a slight pain there. Do you think there's more than what meets the eye? :O I hope not.

I'm so hungry now. The stupid ulcer wants me to starve. It gets all painful and uncomfortable whenever I'm eating something. Pfttt.. Pathetic much? ==

OMG! I can't believe next week is the exam week. Everything is in full paper. Essays for Science papers. I don't even know how to do that. == I just hope I get an A1 for all Science Subjects so that I stay in my class. There will be streaming I tell you!!! That awful word, STREAMING!!! I like all my teachers except for one of them. I like my class. I like my classmates. There is just something about them. I guess it's the fact that we were already together since the beginning of the year. 

Anyway, this is just a short post just to let you know what's happening next week. :P I won't be able to update anytime next week. Wish me luck. :D

Gahhhh......!! I hate the smell of my new shampoo. :( Thanks to some people, I shall be using that shampoo for quite a long time! I did choose my own shampoo but it's not in use. Mine smells wonderful. It smells like Honeydew. :D 

Happy Mothers' Day to all mothers! We didn't celebrate though, and  have tonnes of undone homework! Moral's assignments. I have 2 of them due 20th May 2009. == I can't do anything about the other 4 projects. All of them are lame. 

Dang, Chinese Paper 2 on Wednesday. 40 idioms to be memorized. Freaking hard. Speaking of Chinese, something really gross happened last night. Ok, so I wanted to revise the Chinese Idioms and decided to take my Chinese Workbook to revise all of them. After brushing my teeth, I saw some ants around that workbook. So I just ignored them. The ants kept getting more and more. I felt odd so I opened the workbook. WHOA! There was a COLONY of ants living in my workbook!! I was stupefied at that moment. Until I realized what was happening, I let out a squeak and called for my sister. She's stupefied too. I didn't know what to do so I just shook them off the workbook and then they landed on the floor. It wasn't the best idea because the ants were then on the floor. They were crawling for their dear life. There were still so many ants on my workbook until my sister said :" I'll get Ridsect!" I'm like :"Are you crazy? I still need the workbook!" Then my dad came in and stepped on them. I have ants' juice on my workbook now. == I just continued shaking them off the floor and taking something to kill them. I can't stand ants! :O After the ants were brutally murdered, I didn't wanna touch that workbook anymore. Instead, I used the reference book for revision. And THAT'S disgusting. Imagine that to were happen in class. What would people say? I certainly would throw the book on the floor and take something to get rid of the ants. ==

For those reading this, I have no idea where the ants are from. There weren't any food or sweet stuff in there. :O Horrible ants.

No more Sports Day anymore, because it has finished! :) I got more sunburn today. So effin painful. :( I didn't sit at the stage, instead I sat at the point near the finishing line, under the sun. After having sunburn, I appreciate my lighter colour skin. I'm always saying that my lighter colour skin is so dark and now I'm darker then dark. == 

The day finishes at around 11.30am. Ruby got the first. Congratulations to them! Sarah got first for triple jump, Joyce Khoo got first for 1500m Girls' Open and 800m for Girls' B. Who says our class is full of people who can only study but can't excel in sports? Haha. Proved them wrong. 

Slept for almost the whole afternoon. So damn tired you know. I've been applying numerous layers of aloe vera after sun treatment thing but it feels like it's on fire!! Even my lips are on fire!! I think my lips are sun burnt too. Logging off now, got Inter.F later on at 7.

Sports Day today and I'm awfully sunburnt. I got sunburnt on my face. It's freaking painful. Shucks. I got sunburnt because I have forgotten to apply sunblock. Whose fault is it? It's not mine. Some people misplaced the sunblock and I can't find it. == And I'm the one suffering here. My face is so painful. Cold water doesn't work. Do you have any remedies or home treatment for this? Please please please please please tell me if you have a way to reduce the pain it's causing me. :(

Ok, I'm not being supportive to my house this year. I'm just being supportive to those I know. Joyce Khoo is really good at long distance running. She won a gold for the 800m. Priscilla was also good, but a bit laggy. It took her 2 seconds to respond to the gun shot thing. Sara Wee is good. She can go for long distance. Indeed, she won herself a medal for 800m. Congrats to these people!!! I'm a very supportive friend indeed. I shouted like crazy you know... :P

So for the Moral Project, I ended up taking stupid photos like giving bottles to some unknown people, carrying empty boxes to deliver them somewhere, helping teachers to hold their umbrella etc etc. It's so obvious it's not real because it doesn't look candid at all. :X

I'll stop now. Gotta have some rest. There is tuition tonight. :(

An entertaining group. 

These were the words said by the examiner to the pianist after my exam. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? I did some mistakes during the exam. First, I forgot the arm for battement glissade, then I think my footwork wasn't need enough for the Waltz Enchainment. Lastly, Forget about it, I don't feel like talking about my mistakes. 

Anyway, the examiner was kind and I like her. She let us redo one dance because we screwed it. :) And she smiles a lot and she even laughed. Haha. This world needs more examiner like her. Even when my pirouette was screechy, she still smiled. Mind you, the screech was caused by the over usage of rosin powder. == 

She even laughed when Morgane's scarf was wrapped around her body when it was not thrown properly. ;) 

Yay! Grade 6 is over. :D

Yet, I still need someone to cheer me up. :( I think I won't get a distinction this year. :C

It's my ballet exam!!!! OMGG!It's two hours away and I'm super nervous. Gosh...... I skipped school today and most probably my friends are having BM right now. Luckily I'm outta that. Double BM period. Gah! Nobody likes that.

Anyway, I better get ready right now. ;P I found out the magic of an eyeliner yesterday, it makes my eyes look bigger. Now I'm craving for an eyeliner. ==

I'm having a day from hell....

Trust me, I'm not singing because I'm in a good mood. == In fact, I'm cranky and part of me feels dead. I'm having period pain for quite a while in school and that spoilt everything!! Shennen got to feel the pain I'm going through as she's having her period pain too. =P 

BWAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Ballet exam tomorrow. How can I possibly dance with my third day of period??!! DAYYUUMMMM!!! I so pissed right now. Not to mention anxious and nervous and depressed and worried. That must be me hormones kicking in to do it's stuff. == Oestrogen if I'm not mistaken. Rawr! Do not disturb me or I might rip you apart. Part of me feels is going wild. 

Anyway, we did the build-a-car-out-of-stuff-to-protect-your-egg-from-cracking experiment during Physics. The egg in our group is called 'Shennen'. Shennen suffered injuries to her head during the 3rd trial. The slant of the runway was so steep you know! It was almost vertical!!!! Even the so-called rubber band seat belts cannot protect it. :( But at last the Physics teacher gave the whole class a bar of Zip chocolate each. :D

Off I go for tuition! :)

Ok, so I had the time to create a header last night. It's not 100% completed, that's just a trial. At least I know where my header will be. And my header will be something like that, and of course it will be pink. :P 

I just came back from the charity sales at PERKATA school or something like that. I can say that that is the first time I'm so committed to a club. Btw, I go there under Leo Club. We were selling soya milk, tau hu hua and gui ling gao. It took us about 1 to 2 hours to finish selling everything. Swinburne's Leo Club were selling chicken rice and I think Sg. Maong's Leo Club were selling old magazines or stuff like that. I saw Lilian and Sze Hui and Valerie and I think that's Kueh Kong and also Adrain from Sg. Maong. We were once close. But then because we are in different school now, everything changed. When BL's Leo were done with the selling of food, we decided to help Swinburne's Leo. Damn, that was fun!! They occupy an unoccupied stall beside us and started selling. Whoa, I'm really sleepy now, I got up at about 6.00am this morning. I seldom get up that early on Sundays, unless it's a Church day. ==

I'm so free today. Normally I have ballet classes on Saturdays but because some other people are having their exam, there will be no ballet classes this few days. Mine will be on the 5/5/2009. I'm damn nervous right now. Even though it's not tomorrow, I'm still nervous ok? Anyway, I woke up around eight this morning and was dead bored because there is nothing to eat and nothing to do. Helped my mum a little on the computer until the whole thing auto-restart so I just switched it off and watched some TV.

Mannnns.. Influenza A (H1N1) is really scary. I'm so scared that the pandemic will reach Kuching and everyone will be in big trouble. Let's hope that it won't happen. An outbreak is usually very contagious and people can die from them. I really hate these always mutating flu viruses. Even the scientists are cracking their heads to look for the cure. Damn this outbreak.

Woohoo, it's May already. ;P 

Boo, it's May already. ;(

Firstly, I like it when it's May because I'm growing older and getting closer and closer to owning my driving license (it's still a long way though) and also getting nearer to freedom (no curfew) *screams*.

The Downside of May is, my ballet exam is very very close. School exams are also really close. SPM will be soon. Working life will be here pretty soon too. I don't want to work. ==

Anyway, I can't go to the Christian Concert this afternoon like I promised Joyce because I have tuition in the afternoon. Can't cancel it, because there is no tuition last week. Many people are going to be there while I'm stuck in tuition. :( Oh well, I can improve my BM in tuition *acting tough*. ==

I haven't change the header yet. No time to do so. Sports Day is next week. Like I'm excited. It's going to be as hot and sunny as usual. I don't like the really hot weather. It makes me feel so sick inside. I can't even have a nap without waking up and sweating all over. Mind you, I don't have an air con in my room. Mum doesn't allow. :(
