ngehhh.

I just came back from ballet and gimme a moment to breathe...

***breathes***
Ahhh. That's better.
Good.

This week of school passes really fast, unlike the first and second week. I have a hypothesis that the earth spins slower at the beginning of every year. == I have no idea how to prove that. :P

ANYWAYS, this week was school was funny. My girls and (a few) boys were spending most our time during recess gossiping and laughing and commenting and bitching about someone. I love the part where we laugh.

Do you want to know why we laughed?
BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE WERE TOTALLY UNAWARE OF THEMSELVES WHEN THEY WERE DOING SOME AWKWARDLY STUPID POSES.

Yes. Some really awkward poses. Sooooo awkward until it was funny!
TMWBZ <---- It's a code! ;)
The manly poses were numbered (by us). XD
Pose 1, 2, 3 and the thermometer pose. That's Malaysia's next top model we're talking about!
DAMN FUNNY ONE. MUST SEE TO BELIEVE! :D
Pose 2 was categoried 18-SX. ==
Diandra and me were the highest. No, not that tall high, but hyper high.

Speaking about school, I have so much homework to be completed by this Monday.
- One BM essay about 1Malaysia, which reminds me I need to search the net for stuff about 1Malaysia. I have no ideas for that.
- One Chemistry Peka to be completed. Chem exercises and one more report.
- Several Add Maths questions involving drawing of graphs.
- Maths, once again, involving graphs... :(
- *gasps* Chinese stuff.
- EST information thingy
- ....

The more I think about it the more depressing it gets. Gah!
I'm going to start on my homework by looking for information about 1Malaysia and Genetic Engineering. *sighs*

we don't like you

So there's this particular someone in class that most of us thinks is weird and (he) thinks that he is the only superior being.

Ugh. He thinks he's better than the others. He thinks he's super cool too, making rude remarks about the others and answering our subject teachers in an impolite manner.
He is so uncool oh my gosh.
I heard various complains about him and I felt his 'I am better than you' aura whenever I am around him. He eavesdrop on our conversations too!
Don't believe ask my classmates.

This post is impromtu. Didn't plan to write about him or be mean. It's just something to keep my blog updated. :)
I feel mean at the moment. :D

P/S: I love braids.

something

Chinese New Year is round the corner and I AM NOT EXCITED.
I used to like Chinese New Years when I was young, but now, I don't quite like it. Ughhh.
When I was in Primary school, I love to sing CNY songs out loud but now, I can't stand CNY songs. Don't ask me why.
CNY is boring. And I dislike visiting my relatives (dad's side) because all of them speaks Hakka and I can't speak Hakka. I don't really know them, so yeah.
Even if we met each other somewhere like in The Spring, I wouldn't know that they are my cousins unless my mum informs me. I am a bad cousin.

But I can remember the faces my mum's side relatives. :)
We're closer even though they live across the South China Sea. I meant West Malaysia, not China. ==

What shall I do during the CNY? Certainly we can't visit Puan Madam Ding because she's going to Sibu. I don't want to go visiting with my guys classmates because I am 100% sure that they will end the journey in a stupid cyber cafe.
IF ONLY I CAN DRIVE, everything would be easier.
Plans, plans, plans!! I need to do something during CNY.

I want a tattoo. :(
Why are Chinese parents so closed minded about having a tattoo?
Even a teeny weeny one is not allowed!!! T.T
Piercings are considered ugly. What the crap is that??
Sometimes it sucks to be a Chinese. Everything is so traditional.
Hey, we're living in a modern society right now. Time to change!
I need my liberty. D:

first time

What if I tell you I've seen a bug with (what looks like) eyelashes.
Would you believe me?
If your answer is no, then read on.

One night (one month ago to be exact), while preparing to sleep, something landed on the wall next to me...
It crawled onto my bed and it was kinda freaky at first because of it's eyelashes!

That something was this tiny fellow (photos below).

I couldn't believe my eyes because of the length bug's eyelashes! Yes, EYELASHES!
I don't even have eyelashes that long! :(
This bug looks so gay and I couldn't stop smiling at it (even though it's a bug) because it is so cute!!!
Wanting to share how cute this bug was, I took out my camera and took a few photos.
Don't underestimate this tiny slow-looking bug because it moves very fast!

Okay lah, I was a bit grossed out at first...

Can't see the eyelashes from here. But you can see its eyelashes growing out from the part of his head, not his body.

Crawling onto my baby pillow. :((

Look! Eyelashes!!!
[Click to view a larger image]
When I showed my siblings this tiny bug they couldn't stop laughing too!

Note: If you were wondering, my bed sheet was a gift from my grandmother a few years ago. That explains the bears and balloons on my bed sheet right? ==
P/S: Perhaps I should harvest its eyelashes and somehow turn it into false lashes and sell them. HAHAHAHA!

School on Saturday.

Ughhhh.
I hate hate hate hate hate school on Saturdays.

Firstly, I dislike getting up early in the morning to get ready for school which starts at 7am! I usually pay my sleep debt on Saturday mornings okay. That's like 4 hours of sleep debt wasted this morning, all because of school.

Secondly, my body's biological clock will be confused. How?
Since I ALWAYS wake up late during Saturdays and Sundays, and suddenly I have only one day (Sunday) to wake up late, my brain will assume that that day (Sunday) is Saturday and the next day (Monday) is Sunday. Confusing not?
Yes it's true!! I'm so going to oversleep on Monday. You just wait and see.... And there was this time where I was so convinced that it was a Sunday (actual day was Monday) in my dreams that I didn't want to wake up. :O

Thirdly, my brain doesn't function properly on a Saturday morning.
We had double Chemistry and double Physics this morning and my brain was lagging. Hard to focus kinda thing.
Even though I look as if I am concentrating very hard, but in my brain, I was like: "WHAT DID THE TEACHER JUST SAID??? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! HUH???"
Get the picture? Good.

I love my 5 Setia classmates.
In fact, for the Swimming Club, the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Vice-Treasurer, Secretary and Vice Secretary are all my lovely classmates from 5 SETIA!!!! :D ;D
Damn proud of my 5 Setia. Probably because MDM. Ding was the teacher in charge. :)
She changed her gelaran to Madam Ding already, instead of the usual Puan Ding. LOL.
She's so funny!!!

Wahahahahhahahaha....
5 Setia rules the Swimming Club! :D

5 Setia's the bomb, I tell you!!!
So many student I know are presidents and/or vice presidents. :)

Side note: Someday when I turn 18, I am going to pierce either my belly, my tongue or my eyebrows. :D Someone I met today had her tongue pierced and she said that it wasn't painful at all. According to her, piercing the ear is more painful than piercing the tongue. :O *excited*
Her tongue stud is so cool! :) Not going to mention her name here or else she'll get in trouble...

I don't know why but it feels so great to be a senior (apart from the Form 6's) of the school.
*feels old**
Anyways, I can't stop grinning when I look at the innocent faces of the Form 1's. Every time I see them, I'll be like, in my head, saying to myself: "Dude, I've been there done that. You have a long way to go." Hahaha!

Mum video called my brother yesterday through MSN Messenger and I have a feeling she's going to do that again tonight. ==

I'll stop now because I can't think of something else to write about.
Gonna pay my sleep debt right now before ballet starts at 4pm. :))

I am still infatuated.

I am forcing myself to update...

Yes, I am forcing myself to update because I know you readers can't wait. :)
In addition, I don't have any homework for today, except those from yesterday which I procrastinated. Maths. Pfffttt. Graphs. Double pfffttttt... -___-

Now for the real updates.

How can I ever explain my love for eyeliners?? It's the best thing (so far) ever invented in the world of cosmetics, apart from lip gloss, smokey eyeshadows, pinkish blush and mascara!!!
Liquid eyeliners made my eyes look less droopy and instantly gave my eyes that big look.

I always wanted to give eyeliners a shot but they are so hard to apply, especially when the brush is like a few strands of short, soft hair tied together. I need quite a lot of eyeliner because of my single eyelids (again) and that makes applying eyeliner even harder (to the power of two).
Actually I have double eyelids, just that they are very shy little eyelids and doesn't want to show themselves!!

Okay, back to the topic.

Finally on the 16th January 2010, I had the guts to apply eyeliner and not rub them off immediately. I do that always.
Also because I was wearing an electric blue dress to my parent's company dinner, gotta look stunning right?
It took me about 15 minutes to apply and perfect them. I was impressed by how I looked. :)
*I'm not a self-obsessed like Mariah Carey.*

Here are two photos from my Facebook of me with eyeliner applied. This was my first time applying eyeliner, so praise me for being able to apply it so perfectly. Just kidding!

What do you think? :)
The eyeliner is working its magic...

Don't I look better with eyeliner?
:D :D

The downside about this waterproof liquid eyeliner is, it cracks easily and can be peeled off when it's dry. It itches after a few hours too! Meaning I need another new one! :)
The next day my mum went shopping and I made her get me a brand new eyeliner. XD
And she did! She got me a tube of mascara too. ;)

I'm SEVENTEEN okay?
It's normal for us (seventeen year-olds girls) to use makeup.

Getting bored?
Fine. I'll blog about something else.

My mom got another netbook from the company dinner's lucky draw. My dad got a watch, which I am wearing right now. ==
Now there's 4 computers at home. One notebook, one netbook and two desktops. Not to mention my dad has his own laptop and my brother has his own one too! :O
That's a total of 6 computers for the whole family! I remembered that we used to complain about having not enough computer to use, and now we have about one for each of us. :P

School has been the same. Boring's the word to describe.
In fact, I hate Language periods, except English periods.
Today we spent two periods listening to the teacher explaining about our BM literature stuff. It was so bloody boring that I almost fell asleep. Chinese periods too. It was a long one hour listening to the teacher explaining about some text in traditional Chinese! :( Don't understand much about it though. *Was concentrating on not falling asleep in class*

I want to go to KL during the March school holidays! :(

Now I forgot what is was on my mind.

Going to draw my graphs now.

Finally!
The weekends are here!! :)
Couldn't be happier. :D

It has been raining since (was it yesterday or the day before or...) I don't know when!! That's good because Kuching's not that HOT anymore... *applauses*
Believe it or not, it was 22°C here (Kuching) yesterday (according to Yahoo weather.) Serious!!
No wonder everyone's fretting about the weather... For a moment it was warm, nice and cloudy. And the next moment it was pouring heavily until everything was drenched in rainwater. I hate it when it rains heavily in the morning, especially on a schooling day.
BUT I love it when it rains in the middle of the night, don't you? :)
Why am I blogging about the rain? -__-

Yay! The second week of school is over! *sarcasm*

So far the second week of school is quite okay. Not as depressing as the first week. I saw Pn. Lim, our ex-Chemistry teacher, and whoa, she changed a lot. No, not her attitude! Her look! :O She's wearing contacts instead of glasses now; tied up her hair (like a twist), and wore something colourful! When she went into our lab to take something, everyone was like W-O-W!
To me she looks fierce, no offence, because I had this BM/English teacher in primary school and she has big eyes and looks a teeny wheeny bit like the new Pn. Lim (but not as pretty as Pn. Lim of course :D) and every time she enters our class she will bark at us.
The one thing that I remembered clearly about that teacher is that she made us memorize stuff. For EVERY Monday since we were 10, she made us memorise BM essays (and BM idioms and phrases and stuff) for 3 years!!!

Pn. Ding will be having a Facebook account sooner or later. :P
Oh my, and my present Chemistry teacher has a blog too!

Speaking about blogs, the twins and me had a really brilliant idea that eventually became something hilarious!!
Not going to post it here. It's a long story, and difficult to cut it short. :(

(Some) Wise words from Xian. (When I say it's wise, it REALLY is WISE.)

NEVER. EVER. Drink Dutch Lady's Coffee Flavoured Milk to stay awake.
Take real coffee instead!
Coffee milk doesn't keep you awake, it makes you drowsier!!
The reason I bought that particular coffee flavoured milk was because I assumed that it will help me battle my period of drowsiness during tuition and because of the coffee word and the milk word. Apparently, the REAL coffee is too strong for me. :O
Who knows, the coffee milk made me sleepy in say, 10 minutes (only!!).
Without the aid of the coffee milk, I can probably stay focus for about an hour before the drowsiness kicks in. I ended up snoozing for a few minutes while looking at the textbook.

The lesson is, COFFEE FLAVOURED MILK IS NOT THE SAME AS COFFEE.

I need want more clothes. Must start collecting clothes for college! ==

Yay, it's raining now (12.32am). ;P

Going to bed soon, I've got sleep debts, like Amelia's but lesser. XD

welcome!

Yes, I've moved. :)

It's now www.xian-sational.blogspot.com.
Don't worry, this is still my www.thats-so-xian.blogspot.com blog, but with a new address. :)
Everything else is the same except the address. So, enjoy reading!! ;)

So, WHY Xian-sational??

1. Because Xiansational is taken by some unknown blogger.
2. Xiantimental sounds depressing (doesn't suit my happy-go-lucky image, LOL).
3. *Shioks herself* Xian is a sensation!! Weeeeee! :D
4. The old one address has too many dashes in them. Hard to type! :O
5. I think this one sounds better. :))

quickie

I just had to update. :)
This time it's a brief and quick one.

1. Since my mum is in KL with my brother, my sister and I overslept yesterday. Mum normally wakes us up in the morning. We have no alarm clock, so everything depended on either our mum or our biological clock. BUT, you can't trust my sister with her biological clock. Hers is jammed!! We woke at 6.30am by our maid. If you don't know, our school starts at 7am! But we arrived at school with a few more minutes to spare before the first bell rings... :)

2. Yay!! Amelia Chieng has a blog now!!! :D

3. OMG! OLIVIA IS MIGRATING TO AUSTRALIA TOMORROW AND I KNEW IT JUST A FEW SECONDS AGO FROM AMELIA'S BLOG!!!
Olivia told Amelia just this morning! Awwww, now we can't have a farewell party for her anymore! :(
Unless she comes back to Kuching.

4. Our Add Maths teacher gave us 28 Add Maths questions from the textbook yesterday and gave us 7 more today. That's a total of 35 questions!!! I bet she's going to give us some more tomorrow and that is why this post is really quick and brief. No time for long stories. :(

5. I hate memorizing the Chinese proverbs in class, especially when the teacher gave us two minutes (only!!) to memorize everything! I suck at that. Ugggghhhhhh.......  I was probably the only one in the class that couldn't get it right. D:

6. I freaking scared Diandra at the same place, at the same time, with the same method, on the same day (but on a different week). Mannsss it was hilarious!!!! You should've seen the look on her face.
And this is how I did it: -
First I went to the Physics lab early and waited by the window.
The window was tinted and was closed so she can't look through it from the outside of the lab. Meanwhile, I was observing her from the other side of the window. She's not aware of my presence there and decided to check her appearance in the reflective window (so typical of Diandra).
Just as she was looking at the herself in the reflective window, I opened the window and whistled.
THAT WAS WICKED!!! :D :D :D
She jerked and was swearing something!! [I never felt more evil!] Muahahahahahahahahaha......
I laughed for a good five minutes! :))

Ok I need to do my Add Maths now. Bye! :)
Love you!

short recap.

Going to make this post a quick one because I need to finish all my school and tuition homework by today!! :O

So here goes:

1. Last week, Twins and Joyce wanted to trick me into liking the twins' half angmoh cousin. They said his name was James and had blue eyes. After they said blue eyes, I was suspicious!! :O
How can brown eyes and blue eyes parents give birth to blue eyes children?? That's not right! Blue eyes recessive gene kinda thing.
Then they said he was a humanitarian, doing humanitarian job in Papua New Guinea, likes me (what the heck??), tall, single, strong, muscular, smart, looks like Taylor Lautner and Edward Cullen, cute, and whatever good traits.... *speechless*
I knew there was something not quite right because of the tone they used.
So I interrogated the twins one by one, asked the same questions, then compared the answers. Smart of me ay?! :D
In the end the answers don't match and, BAM!!! There you go, plan FAILED!!! Ahahahahaha! I am not that naive you know!

2. I might be getting a lomo camera, and maybe start on film photography.

3. For every Chemistry period last week, I heard songs being played from the school next to ours. The first song was I Kissed a Girl followed by You Raise Me Up. It was so quiet during Chemistry period that I didn't dare to sing it out loud. :( And during the Chemistry period on Friday I heard Tik-Tok. Mannns, it was hard to not sing to that song because it's so catchy!! :O

4. My brother's leaving for college today. I jokingly asked my mum yesterday about us going to KL for every coming school break to visit our brother/son and to shop there too and guess what she answered? Why NOT? Hahahahahaha. Good to have a brother in a KL college.

5. I hate lizards. Yesterday, while having my breakfast in a coffee shop, a cold blooded, reptile, useless, horrible, disgusting, dumb, literally bleeding from its tail, big, stupid, good for nothing, brown, fat (insert choice of words here) lizard fell from UNDER the table and onto my thigh!!
It was bloody disgusting and was staring at me like I'm some monster!!!!
Hello?? The monster is you, stupid lizard! Why the heck must you land on my thigh, pervert?
Luckily I was wearing jeans and not shorts or else my skin would be in direct contact with a cold lizard!!! Ewwwww man!
I am going to make myself really clear here, I HATE LIZARDS!!!!

6. I saw all my primary school teachers while having dinner in a restaurant yesterday. They were having some farewell dinner or some annual dinner I don't know. It was so awkward to see so many teachers!! :O
I secretly hoped that they didn't remember who I am and cannot recognize me. It's just weird, you know, that feeling. I am not as close to the primary school teachers as I am to the secondary school teachers, so that's weird. And it was hard to forget some horrible experience with some of the teachers.

7. While helping the teachers to clean (Ashley and Joyce dragged me, that's why) the achievement room (or whatsoever place you call that with trophies and awards and certificates) I saw the 90's school year book. It was so old that the photos are in black and white and most of the teachers have puffy hair and big glasses and flowery clothes!!! FUNNY!

And.... I think that's all. :)
I'm going to complete my homework RIGHT NOW.

I need motivations....

*Sighhhs*
I am emotionally depressed. After spending one week in school, I still can't accept the fact that Pn. Wong isn't our Add Maths teacher; Pn. Lim isn't our Chemistry teacher and Pn. Ding isn't our form teacher for this magical year.

Why why WHYYY???

Chemistry and Add Maths periods are not the same anymore.
I've lost my interest in those subjects. :(
They are the reason why I fell in love with those subjects.
I need someone to talk to right now (not the school councilor, not my parents, not my siblings...). I just don't know who!

Even for Add Maths, it's so depressing to do exercises in the workbook because I am used to doing exercises in my exercise books. No more clear explanations and tough examples.

Our used-to-be-fun Chemistry lessons are now serious and tense Chemistry lessons.
No more cracking jokes or whatsoever. No more fooling around. No more teasing Diandra. No more literally LAUGHING OUT LOUD. No more talking in class. No more going to the Chemistry lab for lessons except for conducting experiments. No more fun.

It's just that I miss my old teachers. This is the first time I'm saying that I MISS my teachers badly especially Pn. Lim!!! :((
So many people miss Pn. Lim.....

I'm in a very depressed state and I'm going nuts.
Everything in this world is ugly!!

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY???

Somebody tell me WHY my life is so miserable?!!

Tuesday, January 5, 2010

My first and second day of school....

Is horrible. ):

I have a few minutes to blog this because I am going to take my nap at 5pm in the evening, what the heck, and wake up and then have dinner and then do my homework. FYI, I just got back from school.
Completely tired, sticky and dirty. I was in school since 6.30am! And here I am now, blogging, not taking my shower. Oh wells. Gonna take my shower immediately after I am done with this post.

So here are some updates:

1. I've discovered that my Physics teacher has a blog!!! Can't write boring stuff about Physics anymore!! LOL.

2. I'm gonna love English periods because the teacher is going to ask us to write journals!! Blogging is like writing journals right? :)
Don't worry, I won't neglect my blog.
Instead, everything in that journal is going to be posted here... :)

3. I'm thinking about changing my blog's address. Any ideas? I want the address with my name, Xian, in it. I'm considering xian-sational.blogspot.com. Any comments? Xiansational is taken, so yeah....

4. I haven't met some of my new teachers yet. Thursday's gonna be a great day for me because there's gonna be double Maths (Yay! Pn. Ding!), double Chemistry, double English and double something again (I forgot, sorry!).

5. I am taking 11 subjects for SPM next year. :) Yes, that includes Chinese and EST. Will be going home at 1.35pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays while the others can go home at 1.00pm! :( Busy busy!!
The reason for why I take EST is because it will make my dream of having straight A's possible (just possible okay?!).
Scoring an A for Chinese in SPM is so impossible for me! Damn.
Even though EST is a little pointless, but EST is in English and that's 200 times easier than Chinese! True!!
I don't have to stress about not scoring straight A's for SPM because EST is now my backup A. :D

6. I ate almost a whole bar of Toblerone White Chocolate in school today. T___T
I'm going to be fat soon! Gotta do something about that.....
I'm addicted to white chocolate now, because of Joyce, but I don't blame you. ;)

That's all for now.
I'm going to take my shower and take my power nap now.

devastated

I went to school this morning to collect my textbooks and Pn. Lucy's really our form teacher. :(

Pn. Ding was supposed to be our form teacher as stated on the class list and something happened so she's now next class's form teacher. :(

Awh, this year is gonna suck real bad for me.
I saw the list of the subject teachers for this year and most of my last year's subject teachers aren't teaching us anymore. So CRAPPY.
I'm suspecting the school of planning something bad for us.
As for our Chemistry teacher this year, I heard she's serious and strict and not fun (no offense). I like our previous Chemistry teacher Pn. Lim. :(
BAD NEWS! BAD BAD NEWS. :(
I'm devastated, nearly on the verge of breaking down!!! ): ); D;
Some of my friends were like nonchalant, probably because it wasn't such a big deal for them.
Everything sucks for me this year.

Who knows by the end of this year you won't see a cheerful Xian in me anymore. Instead a moody, gloomy and depressed Xian.
Well, at least you know how it happened.

Is this karma? :(
What have I done wrong?

Hey 2010, you win.
I give up, now give me back my life you!!!
Hey y'all.

It's 1/1/2010, the beginning of a sad year I know. :(

It's back to the 5 hours of sleep, waking up in the morning, brush my teeth, change into my uniform, have disgusting breakfast, yawning several gazillion times in class, getting hungry in class, eating food in class sneakily, wait for school's over, go home, have lunch, shower, nap, wake up, have dinner, attend tuition classes, completing homework, can't finish homework, sleeping late routine.

I am going to repeat this same old routine over and over and over and over and over again for the next 11 months (or so).
Even without a clock, I know when's what, after so many years of practise that is.

As you can see from my busy and hectic routine, I have included no internet time! :(  Meaning no more blogging, facebooking, chatting, twitting..... Unless I feed on someone's Wifi, which is impossible at the moment. :O

Before this year started, I got bad news about our subject teachers for this year. Unfortunately most of the fun and awesome teacher will not be teaching us this year! :(
Yes, that includes Pn. Lim and Add Maths Pn. Wong.
Homg, I'm gonna miss Chemistry teacher's cuteness and awesomeness! :(
Guess who is going to be our Add Maths teacher and might be our form teacher for the rest of the year?

*drumrolls*

PN LUCY CHAN!

That's bad, as in Pn. Ding's NOT our form teacher anymore!!!!!

I want our motherly Pn. Ding as our 5 Setia's form teacher!!! :(

Everyone's like 'All the teachers are the same as long as you study and pay attention in class and get good result because that's the most important thing bla bla bla....'
Shut up you!! That's crap-talking for me!

For you it doesn't matter but for me it means the world! This year's gonna be 5 Setia's last year together as a class in school and I want the last year to be as fun as possible not as boring and trashy.
The last year must be memorable for me!! Having fun teachers is a big part of it besides having lovely friends to spend the whole year with.

Oh wells, it's 12.00am and I need to sleep early tonight. Going to school to collect my textbooks tomorrow.

Fingers crossed for new books, or at least books in good condition! xxxxx

2010!

HELLO 2010!
I am going to hate you a lot.
