Happy Gawai! :)

It has been a while... Right? :P

I have damn lots of holiday homework to do, especially ADD MATHS and CHEMISTRY. *dum dum dum*
I was doing Add Maths yesterday and is now left with a few long questions on Trigonometric Functions and THE PROJECT OF DOOM. :(( I feel lazy.

While I'm not blogging, or tweeting (as you can see from my inactive tweets), or facebooking, can you guess what I'm doing? :D

Just SOMETIMES I do my homework.
BUT, most of the time, I've been playing PandaMania on my iPod and Pokemon Pearl on my sister's DS.
Yeah, yeah I know it's childish and stuff but whatever.

PandaMania is the coolest and most addictive game ever created in the history of the coolest and most addictive game ever created (??), the best part is, it's FREE! :)
It is basically about a panda that looks like Kung Fu Panda but is not and stands on a tower and shoots monsters with using only a bow and several special arrows.
Ohhh! And it has 50 LEVELS. Did I just say FIFTY?
FIFTY LEVELS FOR FREE. This is good!!

I started Pokemon Pearl a few months ago out of boredom. It was the only thing that kept me entertained throughout the whole Boring Period.

Anyways, we have a new Chihuahua! :)
Her name is Summer. We didn't plan to get one, instead she was given by my mom's friend and because we didn't plan for it, we were all unprepared for it.

Summer is so small that she can lie down on a piece of A4 paper with every single part of her on the paper! How small is that? ;D
The day we got her we had to buy her shampoo and her bowls. She is, once again, tiny so we had to bathe her in the sink. LOL. Her bowls are miniature!

Isn't those huge googoo eyes cute?

Oops, wrong photo. Hehe. :)

His coat is so smooth it reflects light to become shiny! :O

This photo was taken by me. It is red because I didn't want to use the flash but it automatically popped out so I had to cover it with my hand. Who knows it made the whole photo red. -____-
FYI, the flash is literally hot when it is firing!

Despite being tiny, you can't believe how HYPER she is. She is so hyper she seem as if she is high on drugs or something. ==

Just last night, I brought her out to do her business when she got so hyper she ran like mad in the garden. She is so small that it is hard for me to catch her. It was around 11 something and was kinda dark when she ran straight towards the drain (I think she didn't see the drain there) and fell right into the drain with an 'omph' sound.
I carried her out of the drain and she was covered in some black drain stuff so I had to bathe her.
That is what will happen to a tiny yet hyper dog. *evil grin*

The pain from my wisdom tooth extraction finally ended on a fine Friday morning, SEVEN days after the surgery. I called the dentist on a Wednesday night because I ran out of painkillers and the affected gum was still painful. He told me my surgery was a difficult one because he had to cut through the bone. So, it takes a few weeks for it to heal completely. :O
I am never going to extract another wisdom tooth ever again!
I can finally eat solid food! I can also yawn properly again!
JOY TO THE WORLD! :D
The strings (or whatever catgut you call that) are still there though. Can't wait for them to fall off. According to the dentist, it will fall off within this week. Yay!

I think that's all for now. :)
It's 11.46am and I am still in my pajamas! Eiks! Gotta change. Bye! :D

Some artsy shot.... -___-

I love this photo! :D

Cooling off in the 'pool'. :)

He has a snout! :O

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

If you have been following me on my Twitter or reading my Facebook status or sitting next to me in class, you should have known by now that I extracted my wisdom tooth yesterday.

My wisdom tooth on the right side of my lower jaw grew horizontally as you can see from the photos below. You can just see a tiny part of it because a big portion of it is buried under the gum.
This wisdom dumbass tooth has been bothering me for quite a time. There's a gap between my wisdom tooth and the molar before it (if your eyes are sharp enough to see), and the gap is like impossible to clean.
It's possible to clean but it takes about 15 minutes or so, not so sure myself whether it's 100% clean or not.
I wanted to do this surgery one week before the exam started but the dentist was fully booked.

So far, my wisdom dumbass tooth cost me nothing but pain for two days (and counting) and cost my dad 500 bucks just to have it removed!!!
I certainly didn't feel smarter with a wisdom tooth and didn't feel dumber when it was removed.

Saw it?

Just so you know, I had my canine from my upper jaw removed surgically too when I was in Primary 6. Again, it was horizontally in the gum by the same dentist. The first time I did it was in GH, surrounded by junior dentists. My dentist was the head of all the dentists in GH (something like that). The reason I did the surgery in GH was because I didn't have to wait for ages for the surgery. It was like I can do the surgery immediately. Mom said I must be a rare case that's why the dentist wanted to show his juniors how to perform my type of surgery.

Sighs. What's with me and horizontal teeth? ):

Back to the main point...
The night before my surgery, I ate Kueh Chap because I was craving for them for such a long time already. :D  My appointment was at 8.30am the next morning, so it means that my breakfast is going to be the last solid food I am going to eat.

BTW, I went for the surgery myself as mom was attending some relative's wedding in Malacca while dad was going for some important meeting. It was the scariest thing ever!
When the dentist examined my tooth, he said to me: ' I am going to do a straight cut in your gum, and then cut through the bones before cutting the tooth in half. After that, I am going to remove it and then saw your gum back together. Okay?'

Upon hearing that, I was terrified. No one was by my side to comfort me.
I am 17 years old and I'm going to extract my wisdom tooth. The dentist just told me what he was going to do and it sounds painful.
If you were me, what would you do?

After a few jabs, the right side of my mouth was numb. My eyes were closed during the whole surgery.
I could feel hot tears flowing down my cheeks throughout the surgery, though the dentist kept consoling me during the surgery.

The surgery started and I heard them cutting my tooth. The sound resembles drills. A few minutes later I felt the dentist pulling what I think was the tooth. The surgery lasted for 15 minutes. The dentist gave me some painkillers, antibiotics, and some medicine to stop the bleeding. He said that my lunch must be in liquid form and that I can only eat some proper food after 5pm. He told me too that the swelling will be at its biggest on Monday. :O

The real pain started when the numbness went away. Chewing wasn't that hard, the hardest part was swallowing. Yes, swallowing.

I tried eating some home-cook porridge but I just couldn't. I had to clench my fist tightly and close my eyes every time I swallow, hoping the pain wasn't as bad as it was.
I was so afraid of dehydration because I couldn't drink much water.
My mouth couldn't open that widely. The most was just about 5cm apart or so.

Saw the part the dentist sewed up?
The right side of the throat is a bit swollen too...

My dinner for that night was mashed potatoes and mushroom soup, while the others ate steak, fish and chips, spaghetti etc etc...
Even the softest food of all soft food like mashed potato is extremely painful to swallow. The soup with super soggy bread in it was also causing me a lot of pain to swallow. :(
I couldn't manage to finish my mashed potatoes and soup. My throat was killing me!
Anyways, I took the medicine and went to sleep.

I woke up three times during the night because I was so hungry!
I ate a piece of Thosai this morning and couldn't finish it again because of the pain. Ughh
My jaw was a little swollen today, and made my face not proportional... My lunch for today was porridge again. Sighs.

I am still hungry. T___T

Well, at least I get to lose some weight without even exercising.

I HOPE THIS IS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I AM GOING TO EXTRACT MY WISDOM TOOTH.

shucks....

So I've gotten back some of my papers today and I have to say, I am really disappointed with myself.

Biology.
This IS my favorite subject and I don't know why some people hate it... I think it's pretty interesting to know how the human body works and not stuff like acceleration or electricity that most people don't really bother about. If we don't understand Physics, we can still survive, BUT, if we don't understand how the body works, we could have died. Right?
Anyways, I did so badly for Biology especially for Paper 3, Section B. That bloody piece of experiment cost me my NINE marks. :(
My Paper 1 was kinda lousy too.
I've never expected it to be that bad, like MORE than 10 incorrect answers, it's my favourite subject!

On the bright side, my operational definition was good, according to teacher and she wanted me to read it out loud for the whole class, using a microphone.
My gosh. I didn't know that we were supposed to write like explanations for the operational definition.
The reason I wrote that was : I was so pissed because I studied so hard for plants and none came out.
Might as well write some explanation there to feel better and to know that my efforts are not wasted.... Haha. At least that cheered me up. :)

Oh, and during biology lessons, our teacher was discussing our Paper 3 and she said some people do not know how to differentiate observe, record and measure.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Teacher: Imagine this is a potometer in front here. Can you see it?
Joyce gave me the look.
Teacher: Imagine this is the air bubble and this is the scale. Can you see it?
The look once again.
Teacher: Imagine there is a ruler there, can you see it? Of course you use the ruler to measure the reading and record it. How can you observe and then record? Your eyes got scale is it??
Joyce: Yes. Can you see it??
Then both of us burst into laughters. It was so funny the way she said it! :D
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MANGLISH ENGLISH.
My freaking essay was out of topic! :( So much for spending like one hour on Section A (directed writing). I calculated my marks and it's altogether 79.375!!
79.375!
79.375!!!!
Seventy nine point three seven five.
Even if I round it off to 4 significant figures it would be 79.48!
So close to an 80!
If only I was not out of topic, I would have gotten higher marks. If only I wrote complete sentences for the literature section, I would have gotten more than 80. Sheesh, I'm jinxed. ==
OUT OF TOPIC. That's like really bad! So many people I know got more than 40 for their essay whereas mine was a lousy piece of 33. :(

On the bright side, my teacher liked my Section A (directed writing). That made me feel better.
Thank God! I spent ONE HOUR writing that and if she didn't like it, I would be in hysterics.
AT LEAST I can get an A- with an out of topic essay!

Add Maths.
Once again, I have so many careless mistakes, ranging from adding wrongly to copying the question wrongly to transferring the values from the calculator wrongly to reading the question wrongly.
Right after I finish this post, I am going to Google 'What causes careless mistakes?'.
I know the concept and I know what they want but I got penalized by copying the wrong information and stuff... Ugh!
It's so annoying when you know you could have gotten more marks and less marks deducted.
Sighs, I guess that's life. :S

On the bright side, AT LEAST I have less careless mistakes now.

Just so you know, I've trimmed my front hair now and it is so short (above my eyes), probably I'm not used to it. Sometime it looks a tad like the brush makeup artist normally use, hahahahahaha. xD

Gonna take my shower now. Toodles! :)

P/S: Blogging about all that seriously made me feel better. :)

post mid-year exams celebration?

I was suppose to go jungle trekking with Ashley and Joyce this morning with my dad's friends.

Yes.
I WAS PLANNING TO GO JUNGLE TREKKING
Travelling on foot for approximately one and a half hour before arriving at some cave and spending another two or more hours in the cave, exploring.
Sounds impossible for me huh?
Nah, I'm strong and fit, I can do it. ;D *shiok sendiri*

Normally, I would be the one objecting for such trips.
This time, I was actually looking forward to it, BUT, I couldn't go. D:

My dad didn't allow me to go because I was having sore throat a few days before and he said that it is best for me to not go.
Ashley and Joyce didn't go too because I wasn't going.
Sighs.
Stupid sore throat. I hate sore throats cuz I can actually feel the pain, unlike flu or cough. If I were to choose, I'd say I would prefer having the flu over some pain in the ass sore throat. :)

AND, if I were to go, I bet this post is going to be full of photos. ==

This jungle trekking could be counted as our post mid-year exams celebration. Spending a few hours in the jungle would be just nice, especially after two weeks of gluing our arse on the chair, studying.

Gonna end this post now. It's way past my bed time.

bye-bye mid-year exams. :)

Oh gosh.
I MISS MY BLOG SO MUCHHHH! :(
My poor blog has not been updated often and I feel bad. Don't blame me though, BLAME EXAMS.

It was hectic and this was our first time having full paper for the exams. Like the real format and stuff and it's well, kinda stressful because you need to study one subject with three papers for three different days.
I hate essay questions or designing-an-experiment questions.

Pfffttt. Designing experiments. What's exactly the point of it again?

And essay questions for History are pretty much confusing too. There was this 16 MARKS question about '...nasionalisme tahap satu dan dua di Asia Tenggara...'!! How do we know what we were suppose to write? Like 16 freaking marks.
4 x 4 = 16.
8 + 8 = 16.
Geddit? Geddit??
Okay. I've proven my point. :)

This is what normally happens to me during the exams.

Scene 1:
This answer feels wrong, maybe I should change this explanation to the other explanation which sounds better and more complicated.
*cancels first answer and write the second answer*
(Discuss with friends and friends said that the first answer was correct.)
WHAAAAAAAAAAAT???!!!!

Scene 2:
Eh, this one feels wrong. Maybe it's correct. Wait it might be wrong. Yes. No. Yes. No. Better stick to my first answer.
*smiley face*
(Discuss with friends and the second answer was correct.)
NOT AGAIN!!!!!

Scene 3:
Class, you have 10 minutes left.
OH MY! OH MY! SHITTTTT!
*writes as fast as possible until handwriting is beyond recognition*
(Realized some important points were left out when looking through reference book.)
Sighs. :(

To be honest, I have a little kiasu-syndrome in me. :(
I am competitive. Too competitive ain't good I know, but I just can't help it.
Knowing the mistakes I've made during the exams can make me literally think about it for days.
Even in my dreams. Like really, they haunt me so much it's creepy!
But this is what motivates me to study, especially the thought of flunking a subject.

Anyways, I'm gonna split the things I want to blog about into different posts. First reason being to have more number of posts for May. :P

No title

Sorry peeps. I'm having my mid-year exams these few weeks, and that explains the very very very lack of update since a few weeks ago.

Thing is, I must ace every important exams like mock exams, mid-years, and the real deal. Mom promised me something really good when I do well in these exams.
Something I've always wanted. :D

So yeah, peeps.
I want it so badly, that's why I'm neglecting my blog. :(( Sorry...

Anyways, I'm off to revise my BM. I hate komsas. Gah!
