update...

Accident happens....
Hah.
Today, I've got hot ammonium chloride and sodium hydroxide splashed onto me. I was wet, smelt awful (like ammonia) and feels soapy.

This is a brief recap on what happened.
As we were doing confirmatory test for some ions, Sarah heated the mixture of ammonium chloride and sodium hydroxide with a little distilled water. I didn't know the test tube was pointed at me and neither did she saw me and Joyce standing there. While I was telling Lucas which bottle of chemical is what chemical, I think the chemicals in the test tube had some reaction and me splashed me in the most vulnerable part of the school uniform. Yes, it's part where the white blouse is exposed, beside the ribcage. It went straight there and I was screaming like a banshee. It was hot! My blouse was soapy and smelt like ammonia.
I went to the toilet and washed the chemical off my skin. The scald feels sunburnt.
After I run the scald with cold water and took a nap, the scald became a crescent shaped scar and it looks like a vampire had just bitten me. XD

Anyway, we did a really cool experiment today. There is this test where the precipitate looks like glitter. Real glitters! It was the prettiest thing I've ever seen in a chemistry lab. We were all awing like a bunch of sakais when we poured the glitters precipitate in the black sink. The once colourless solution with glitters turned metallic gray when it was poured into the sink.
Awwwwww....
I wonder whether people make glitters that way.......

I love creative writing and Amelia's group's was the funniest. I promise that I will post the essay up when she passes me the essay. It's a must read! With Diandra reading it, it's hilarious!!

I was planning to study History tonight but, oh well....

P/S: Never smell ammonia directly from a test tube. I did that and I had runny nose the whole day. Gosh.

There is no boundaries for BURNING PEANUTS!

Burning peanuts was fun! I brought extra salted cashew nuts to the lab and so me and Joyce were peeling and munching them in the lab. They were flown from Vietnam (my grandmother went there and she brought them back) and that is why they taste so good! XD While waiting for the result of the experiment, we finished them. :O It was such a tiny container. -____-
The whole lab smelt like a campsite. You can smell roasted peanuts and roasted anchovies. There was this group of people who burnt crackers and the flame was mad huge! My group burnt almonds, walnuts and cashews. Cashews have the highest energy content! Its energy caused the water in the boiling tube to boil!

We've made a really serious mistake for the Chemistry experiment. We were plating my 20 sen coin with copper and then we waited for like half and hour but the colour of the coin is still silver. Then we realized that the coin had corroded and the copper strip became thicker. Wth. == We kiap the object with the wrong wire. Ahhhh... Ended up with a half corroded coin and a stupid thick copper strip. ==

It's JULY! Stupid dysfunctional monitor! Gonna get a new monitor tomorrow. I'm craving for Korean food... :O I hope Dad's gonna bring us for Korean food tomorrow. I'm craving for bangles, pumps, tops, shorts, clips, handbags... I'm think I'm turning into a shopaholic soon!
I'm getting really irritated by my heat rashes. They are so itchy!! When I wear jeans, I have them and they last for 2-3 days. Grrrrr. When I wear shorts, I don't get them. Even when I wear jeans in an air-conditioned room, I still get those freaking annoying heat rashes! Blah them! :(

Off I go. My char kuey tiaw is waiting for me for like 2 hours already. :O

P/S: Pn.Wong's gonna be away for 3 weeks and that is gonna be a nightmare because by the time she comes back, we'll forget some parts of Add. Maths, which I'm certain of. I'll be one of them forgetful people.
