Slow learner

As you guys know, my first driving lesson was on the 31st July 2010.
That was my first time ever being behind the wheels in seventeen years! Therefore, it must be historic!! I shall remember that day until the day I die. *touch wood*

Since that was my first driving lesson, I was extremely excited! Who wouldn't be? :D I thought driving would be easy, but it really isn't. Trust me. I especially hate to use the clutch! I don't even know why the clutch is ever invented in the first place. -__-

Before I start driving, my driving instructor briefed me on what I must do before I start the car like adjusting the seat, rear view mirror, free gear thing, hand brake and.... Crap. I can't remember the rest. :S
When everything was set, I started the car and he shift the gear to reverse and he reversed out of the parking area with me in the driver's seat and him in the front seat. Yes, HE REVERSED by controlling the steering wheel and the clutch or whatever you call that. I was there admiring the scenery only. LMAO.

The first thing he taught me was how to apply the foot brake and clutch. He told me to release the clutch and then slowly apply the clutch again and brake. When I heard the magic word 'brake', I slammed quickly on the foot brake because that was the only thing I understand/know at that moment. The car stopped instantly at that spot. Due to inertia, both my driving instructor and I were thrown forward and back again. WTH. No one died thank goodness! I got a long lecture from him after that. Bahahahahahahaha. :)

Then, he taught me how to turn. I can't even master that technique until now! Boohooo. It was so boring turning round and round the track for I dunno, 50 times. For my first and also second lesson, he didn't let me control my own steering wheel because he said I can't control my own steering wheel. At that time I didn't know whether the car was moving straight or not because that was just my first time. :S It is something very new to me. LOL. I had no idea how to navigate the car and when I asked him, his reply was something like 'You need to feel the car.'
Feel-the-car. Righhhttttttt. ==

I wanted to look at the curb while turning but he forbids me to do so, claiming that I must learn to estimate and to feel the movement of the car. My ability to estimate is CRAP RETARDED. I tried my best to estimate and to feel the car when I was turning but that didn't work out because when I turned the steering, it was either too soon or too late and my instructor had to turn the steering wheel back for me. :S
Driving makes me feel dumb.

THIS is why:

Xian: *turns the steering wheel happily*
Instructor: Hey, you turned too soon.
Xian: How do you know?
Instructor: You hit the curb already. -__-
Xian: REALLY? I DID?? *turns head to look at the curb behind*
Instructor: Didn't you feel that? OI!! Eyes on the road! Eyes on the road!
Xian: Oh right. *looks in front* No, I didn't feel anything.

Later, he told me to fasten my seat belt because he is going to let me drive on the main road. *GASP* I get to drive on the main road for my first lesson!! I've got to say I'm so proud of myself because Ash and Shen got to drive on the main road during their second or third lesson.

So, the moment I reached the junction, I couldn't feel my legs. Literally. There were so many HEAVY VEHICLES like lorries, trucks, buses and SPEEDING VEHICLES. It was so scary because I don't even know how to drive and yet I am driving on the road, with my instructor beside me of course... Just so you know, the Kancil's air-con was so cold I couldn't feel my fingers too! Don't, underestimate a Kancil's air con! :D
My instructor controlled the steering wheel while I closed my eyes with my fingers because there were so many cars heading towards us as we turned out of the junction. Heck yes I closed my eyes. 8D
I KNOW THAT'S CRAZY!!
Honestly it was my instructor who did the steering and most of the driving.

I've got to admit, I get distracted really easily by stuff happening outside of the car.
For example, I pointed and screamed BALD KID!!!! when there was this bald kid with his mother walking by the road side. I got distracted by birds fighting on the electric cables too. WTH.
I don't know how many times my engine died that day, but I know it increases every lesson. For my third lesson it was more than 10 times, dammit. D:

My driving instructor told my mom I don't know how to control my steering wheel when my mom came and pick me up. :(
Ash and Shen could drive without an instructor beside them for their FIRST LESSON!!!

I had my fifth driving lesson today, I repeat, FIFTH. Twins didn't even go for their fifth lesson! They could drive perfectly smooth for their fourth lesson and sit for their road test after that and eventually PASS.

Unlike me.

I am so freaking happy and nervous at the same time because this is my first formal interview ever. For seventeen years and a month, I've not been through any formal interviews. Pffft. I am so stressed out. I'm making a big fuss at the moment over tiny things like what to wear and how to style my hair. :S
The HECK.

For these two weeks, I have like tonnes of holiday homework to complete. Most of them are Chemistry. :( Chemistry, oh Chemistry. 

I am going to *gulps* blog about my driving lessons tomorrow. Hopefully I remember most of them. ;)

Biology Test Tomorrow!

Ah. I'm getting bored reading and revising biology. :S Im gonna read some more when I'm done with this post.

Anyways yesterday was so not my day because I couldn't and didn't finish the Add Maths 2! :( I think I did better for Physics. I left a few questions blank, can you believe it?! :(

There was one question in Physics and it went like this : You are a MECHANICAL ENGINEER, (something something) design a cooling system for the engine of the motorcycle by selecting the metals for it and (something something).

Gahhh!! Firstly I don't want to be some freaking mechanical engineer even if I was magically offered the course for it.
Secondly, I don't care what metal is used for whatever cooling system. NO ONE CARES.

Add Maths 1 today is easier and I have like 30 minutes left when I finished. -__-
Mum just got back from Singapore and she bought like so many pairs of shoes!! :D woohoo!

Gosh, I just spent 15 minutes typing this. Oh wells.

I have been super busy with my life lately and right now I can actually feel the SPM pressure getting to me. :(

Anyways, last two weeks I had my first driving lesson!!

The first time being behind the wheels was awesome although it was a little scary initially!! :)

I really really want to blog about my first driving lesson now but I can't because it's almost midnight. I am suppose to read some biology and physics.

I am itching to blog right now but I just can't. :( That is why there will definitely be more updates after my first trial ends. WHICH IS IN TWO WEEKS.

My birthday was yesterday!

Time flies, don't you think so?

I remembered complaining about being born so late and had to wait for like 100+ days until I can drive legally. But now, I'm proud to say:

I AM FINALLY OF LEGAL AGE TO DRIVE!
OH YEAH!

Yesterday, Ashley and Shennen sat for their driving test, and guess what? THEY PASSED!
They went for only four freaking lessons and yet they can pass! I want to be like them too!
On second thought, it must have been MY BIRTHDAY LUCK given to them! [Ash or Shen if you are reading this please don't be mad because it's trrruuueee!] Hahahahahahaha!

My party is tonight and I am so excited! :P
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
And the reason I'm throwing a party on my seventeenth birthday and not my sixteenth birthday is because, fifteen is the same as sixteen. Anything you can do when you are fifteen, you can do it too when you are sixteen. Ain't that right? So, no point in celebrating. Whereas when you're sixteen, you can't drive. Seventeen is much more better because you can now drive! :D Geddit?

While doing the experiment for heat of neutralisation yesterday, Joyce and me were so blur. Hahahaha! It is because she took the sulphuric acid and measured the temperature and I took the ethanoic acid and measured the temperature. When we mixed it the temperature of the mixture rise by just 1 degree. -__-
Crystal's group got their temperature to rise by about 7.5 degrees.
We were all wondering why our reaction was retarded.
THEN WE REALISED THAT NONE OF US TOOK THE ALKALI FOR NEUTRALISATION! OMG.
No wonder. We assumed that the other person is taking the sodium hydroxide. :\
We had a good laugh. ;)

It's nine in the morning now. I have so much homework to complete which reminds me I have to complete my bio exercises or else it is 2 demerits for every question not completed! That would look really bad on a college application. D:
My first mock is in approximately three weeks time. Shoot. First mock. College application. DAMN.
