My birthday was yesterday!

Time flies, don't you think so?

I remembered complaining about being born so late and had to wait for like 100+ days until I can drive legally. But now, I'm proud to say:

I AM FINALLY OF LEGAL AGE TO DRIVE!
OH YEAH!

Yesterday, Ashley and Shennen sat for their driving test, and guess what? THEY PASSED!
They went for only four freaking lessons and yet they can pass! I want to be like them too!
On second thought, it must have been MY BIRTHDAY LUCK given to them! [Ash or Shen if you are reading this please don't be mad because it's trrruuueee!] Hahahahahahaha!

My party is tonight and I am so excited! :P

And the reason I'm throwing a party on my seventeenth birthday and not my sixteenth birthday is because, fifteen is the same as sixteen. Anything you can do when you are fifteen, you can do it too when you are sixteen. Ain't that right? So, no point in celebrating. Whereas when you're sixteen, you can't drive. Seventeen is much more better because you can now drive! :D Geddit?

While doing the experiment for heat of neutralisation yesterday, Joyce and me were so blur. Hahahaha! It is because she took the sulphuric acid and measured the temperature and I took the ethanoic acid and measured the temperature. When we mixed it the temperature of the mixture rise by just 1 degree. -__-
Crystal's group got their temperature to rise by about 7.5 degrees.
We were all wondering why our reaction was retarded.
THEN WE REALISED THAT NONE OF US TOOK THE ALKALI FOR NEUTRALISATION! OMG.
No wonder. We assumed that the other person is taking the sodium hydroxide. :\
We had a good laugh. ;)

It's nine in the morning now. I have so much homework to complete which reminds me I have to complete my bio exercises or else it is 2 demerits for every question not completed! That would look really bad on a college application. D:
My first mock is in approximately three weeks time. Shoot. First mock. College application. DAMN.

Boo. :(

I am awake at 8.55am on a fine Sunday morning. My brother's phone rang at 7 something just now, with Pyramid set as his ringtone. DAMN. It's so loud and annoying! Now I can't go back to sleep.
What a great way to kick start my Sunday.

 I was browsing through my old photos and I found some photos of me when I was in the afternoon session, around age 13-14. I dare not look more because I looked stupid back then. *embarrassed*

And before I forget, I got distinction for my Grade 7! My marks were better than last year's marks, not much of a difference, but whattheheck, it was better right? :D

P/S: I'm going to cook something to eat, and then I'll try to sleep after that.

This happened a few months ago, but still, I need to rant about it.

I was told that I was in charge of putting together everyone's photo for the class profile. So these were what I came up with. Not bad for a beginner like me right? :)

Guess what?

They (school magazine people) said the photos were too SEXY and told us to change. What the heck man! 

I spent like two days selecting and cropping and doing this and that until I neglected some of my subjects and also sacrificing some of my sleep time! 

WHAT THE HECK MAN.

What is wrong with you people? Why are you guys so freaking close minded.

You know that day while driving on the road with my driving instructor, he suddenly said: 'Jiayou! Jiayou Ashley!' I thought he was giving me encouragement because I was driving so slow and also because jiayou is a word to encourage somebody in Chinese. After thinking about it for a while, I figured out that jiayou meant stepping on the accelerator!

Honestly, if I were to be in her shoes, I would have thought that the driving instructor wanted me to pump some petrol from the nearest petrol station. -__-

My mom FORBIDS me to use the computer or laptop. Since today is Saturday, and my parents are not in town, I might as well blog. :)

First of all, I am starting to love chemistry. :) Our Chemistry teacher uses our civics period to teach chemistry, so now we don't have to worry about anything related to civics anymore! :P And who the heck cares about civics in  the first place anyways?

Chemistry experiments are fun. :D Just like last week when we conducted the Effects Of Different Metals On Rusting experiment. Basically we need to pour the hot jelly into a few test tubes. I repeat, test tubes. Not boiling tube. Just so you know, the mouth of the test tube was so small it was hard to pour the hot jelly into it. And because we spent so much time putting the hot jelly in the first tube, so by the time we were about to pour the hot jelly into the second test tube, the hot jelly became not-so-hot anymore. -__-

Jelly solidifies when it's cold. So yeah, we had trouble putting the jelly into the test tubes. To make sure the jelly doesn't solidify further, I decided to use my bare hands to do things. ;) Oh and the jelly was greenish-yellowish-snot-like-ish. It was kinda fun putting the jelly into the test tube, after all, it's all for science! :D
I'm pretty sure our chemistry teacher thinks of me differently now. Trust me, I can be dirty (as in clean dirty, not yellow dirty) if I want to. ;)

Secondly, our biology teacher showed us some pretty gross pictures during our biology lessons. She showed us pictures of STD infected people with pus and stuff in their eyes, hands, etc... Some people kept their eyes closed when the teacher showed us the pictures. She included photos of babies delivered through cesarean too! It was kinda sick because there's blood everywhere. -__-

Thirdly, ECLIPSE IS OUT. I freaking want to watch that. :c

Fourthly, my mom told me earlier that she is going to use the results of my first mock to apply for college! Going to use the results of my first mock to apply for college!! That fast??! Sighs. I guess I have to study hard starting from today, or tomorrow, or.....
The people I know who are going over to Taylors are all going for the second intake. That means, I am going to be in college with no one I know! :( Hopefully I can meet some great people there though..
It's weird but at the same time I feel excited for the first day in college. :S

Fifthly, is 10th of July already! November is less than four months from now!! T__T The thought of SPM is close is worrying me too much. :(

Multitasker

Hell YEAH. I am a multitasker!

It's 12am and I have to hand in my Chemistry exercises tomorrow. I am left with one more experiment and a couple of blanked structured questions. Yet, I am still here typing a post. :D

Someone ought to tell me to finish my Chemistry first...

Anyways it's July already and my birthday is in 3 weeks time. I'm planning to throw a medium size party this year since it's my last year in high school anyways. :P I am turning SEVENTEEN!

After that, I am going to learn how to drive. AT LAST! Whoop-de-dooooh! Hopefully my seventeenth birthday is a memorable one. :)

So my birthday is in three weeks time.

ECLIPSE IS FREAKING PREMIERING IN A WEEK AS WE SPEAK!

I'm so excited!!! :D
